After much success with 'Shrek' franchise, DreamWorks is putting it's foot in another territory with releasing 'Madagascar 2' in 2008.

The sequel to 2005 hit will be called 'Madagascar: The Crate Escape' and will be released in theatres exactly one year from now. That's right, it will hit theatres November 7th, 2008.

Nothing is officially known about the premise but the story picks up where it left off. The film reunites all David Schwimmer, Ben Stiller, Chris Rock and Jada Pinkett Smith. And yes, the Penguins are back as well.
