DreamWorks Animation will be moving forward in their goal to align the top-level executives with central vision for the company's projects.
Having within the past week announced the inclusion of a new Head of Development, DreamWorks Animation is looking to secure its place in the future of computer animated feature filmmaking. The company has announced that Alex Schwartz is their new Head of Development, taking over for Kristine Belson, whom at present has been appoint to guide another one of DreamWorks' upcoming releases through production, Crood Awakening.
Alex is an exceptional and experienced executive with a proven track record. As we see the line between live action and animation continue to blur, we are eager to broaden our slate and bring new talent into the studio," Bill Damaschke, Co-President of Production, commented in a recently released press article.
