In true Cinderella fashion, Doris the Ugly Stepsister came from behind and won the "Far, Far Away Idol" contest featured on the Shrek 2 DVD, which went on sale on Friday, Nov. 5.

Move over, Fantasia. There's a new idol in town.

The American Idol spoof, which is one of the DVD's extra features, stars ogres Shrek and Fiona as judges alongside a CGI-animated version of Simon Cowell.

Among the Shrek 2 characters' performances are the Big Bad Wolf's rendition of "Hungry Like the Wolf," Puss in Boots' version of "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'" and Gingerbread Man's "Mr. Roboto."

It was Doris' take on the Cyndi Lauper classic "Girls Just Want to Have Fun," however, that won the most online and toll free number votes. In the film, the Ugly Stepsister is voiced by Larry King.
