While speaking to Steven Feldman of DreamWorks SKG Fansite about his upcoming film The Island, Michael Bay spilled beans /www.dreamworksfansite.com/transformers/"">Transformers.

When asked about the challenge of adapting /www.dreamworksfansite.com/transformers/"">Transformers, Bay said, In terms of ""Transformers""...How do you do giant robots and care. ""We used to joke that we were calling it Campbell's Soup: The Movie because it was the ultimate product placement.

He added, you know, just put the toy up there and what are you gonna do? So we've been very diligent to find what the character story is. How they relate to the story, how they relate to the humans, so it's not just a toy commercial. So I think it's going well.
