The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission on Tuesday issued a voluntary recall for Paramount Shrek Ears headbands.

The headbands were distributed via Paramount Pictures Corp., in Hollywood, Calif., under contract with DreamWorks Animation SKG in Glendale, Calif., to Pepsi Bottlers. Pepsi used the headbands as a giveaway product to employees between Feb. 23 and April 1.

A small wire can protrude through the fabric of the ears on the headbands. No injuries have been reported.
