DreamWorks is making plans to adapt comics Courtney Crumrin and The Damned for film.

The former is Ted Naifeh's comic about the misfit daughter of well-to-do parents who discovers magic in her uncle's creepy mansion. The latter is Cullen Bunn and Brian Hurtt's horror noir about rival gangsters that must unite to combat supernatural demons.

Dreamworks bought the rights to both. No word yet on scripts, directors or shoot dates.
