DreamWorks SKG Fansite was invited to preview the first 45 minutes of /www.dreamworksfansite.com/theisland/"">The Island, another summer sci-fi and we have got an in depth look at it.

On Tuesday night, DreamWorks SKG Fansite rep Steven Feldman was able to see a preview of Michael Bay's new film, ""The Island,"" at the AMPAS building in Beverly Hills. The 45 minute opening section of the film was not totally completed. Some FX shots still had to be filled in and such, meaning the blue screen was still there. It was the first time it had been shown, and since it wasn't completed, one can understand why Michael Bay called it ""a director's worst nightmare...If you're seeing things that look cheesy, it's because they aint finished.""

The review does feature some spoilers. /dreamworksfansite.com/theisland/preview_film.php"">Read it in full here."
