On October 11th, 1994, three men joined alliance to create a studio that will be like none other.
Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen, moguls of the entertainment world came together to make DreamWorks, a studio that will produce live action and animated films, games, music and tv shows. After a rough start with their first few productions in 1997, DreamWorks received back to back three Best Picture Nominations, of which two came victorious.
Following that, DreamWorks sold it's game division DreamWorks Interactive and then eventually DreamWorks Records. Between late 2001 and early 2004, the studio didn't score big at all. Then came

Then in July of 2005, talks with Universal opened for a possible acquisition of DreamWorks which came to an end last week. Aside from a disappointment numbers of

Where does the studio right now? Definitely in a better place than it has been past few years but it's a long road ahead. Whether DreamWorks is sold or not, one thing is for certain. Not everyone has guts to last 11 years with so many trials and tribulations.
Our heart goes to DreamWorks for a job well done. Happy 11th Birthday."
