Jun 21, 2007 - 03:34 PM
Jim Broadbent has officially joined that cast of Indiana Jones 4 today. You can read the announcement at IndianaJones.com.

During a recent interview with BritFilms British actor Jim Broadbent let it slip that he was going to be starring in Indiana Jones 4.

""I?m doing a good cameo in the next ?Indiana Jones?, so working with Mr. Spielberg should be an experience. I?m going to Yale ? I?m a professor.? said Jim Broadbent. And when suggested that he could be the new Marcus Brody character, Jim replied: ?That would do for me (laughs)?

Jim Broadbent is now the third British talent taking part in Indy 4. Already announced are Ray Winstone and John Hurt. Cate Blanchett is from Australia.

Dr. Marcus Brody, a museum currator and friend of Indy, is a character who appeared in both Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Brody was played by late British actor Denholm Elliott who passed away in 1992.

Thanks to Brett Hopkins, Ryan OC and Dr.Sartorius from The Raven for the heads up."
