"While talking to BANG Showbiz in London, Jeffrey Katzenberg said that is considering a sequel to Over the Hedge.

""We've fallen in love with these characters and there are more stories that I know we would love to tell with them and Kerry (Fitzpatrick) and Tim (Johnson) have already talked to me about what would be the next chapter in their lives which has been a lot of fun,"" said Katzenberg.

He added: ""It will ultimately be the moviegoers that decide that. We're anxiously waiting to see how it does outside of the US but it has been a great success for us in the States already.""

Over the Hedge has collected $145 million domestically."
