WOTW.
A letter that went to various Theatre Chains in France clearly states that the 60 second preview of the 2 min full trailer will premiere on May 16th, revealing extra terrestrials.

As you undoubtedly know, The War of the Worlds is set to be released on July 6th, 2005. This flick sure is one of the biggest events of the year.
You probably know that with such a release we're going to spread uncommon means. In order to coordinate the submission of all this material and to help you in the optimization of the broadcasting of the trailers, we'll make this clear.
Concerning the trailers:
*Latest December 21st (2004 Christmas vacation), we were offered the first teaser. This teaser was meant to create curiosity. We no longer have need this teaser... [the rest was of no interest.]
*Since Friday April 15t, you were given the brand new trailer, which is totally exceptional.
*From Monday May 16th 2005, you'll be given a trailer of 60 sec especially designed to be previewed before STAR WARS (at the end of it, you'll discover the look of the extra-terrestrials).
*For ""La F?te du Cin?ma"", you'll be given the ultimate trailer of 2min of the picture. This trailer will undoubtedly spawn an event in the theaters. We urge you to put it before Batman Begins, ... Thanks to 'DarkKing'." |
