The project is to be produced by Ivan Reitman under the direction of Mike Clattenburg (the series director) is helming the project. Now I haven't heard anything on this from the official channel but could be that I missed it.

The film sets before the events of the Trailer Park Boys Television show. The pot smoking, rum drinking Ricky and Julian are released from prison where they meet Bubbles for the first time and eventually come to live in the Sunnyvale Trailer Park.

The hit series is currently being shown on Showcase Television."
