DreamWorks News: Roker Visits 'Dreamgirls'
Nov 30, 2006 - 10:28 AM
"NBC's 'Today Show' weatherman and correspondent Al Roker visited the ladies of 'Dreamgirls' on the set of the film.

Roker interviewed Beyonce, Anika Noni Rose, and Jennifer Hudson -- all in costume on the set. Beyonce remarked that she believed the film is 'timeless.' She also commented that she and her fellow Destiny Child group members grew up on the Supremes, the musical group the musical/movie is based upon. Anika Noni Rose said that the movie was full of Hollywood 'heavy hitters,' referring to the stellar cast. Jennifer Hudson said that in their hearts, the whole cast and crew just wanted to do the musical 'justice' and she believes they have succeeded.
