"DreamWorks and Paramount have decided on one of their first post-merger projects.
D.J. Caruso ('Two for the Money') will direct ""Disturbia,"" a new thriller produced by Steven Spielberg . The project is expected to go into production by April.
Scripted by Christopher Landon, ""Disturbia"" was bought as a spec script by DreamWorks and Montecito Pictures partners Tom Pollock and Ivan Reitman last fall.
'Disturbia' is the story of a troubled high school kid, still in grief over the recent death of his father, who is placed in house arrest after he has a rage attack at school.
