In an interesting news, IGN is reporting that casting has begun for TinTin Trilogy to be directed by Steven Spielberg, Peter Jackson and to be decided director using motion capture technology.
The
website reports that casting began in Los Angeles this week. What's interesting is that Spielberg just wrapped up filming for 'Indiana Jones 4' and is suppose to film 'Lincoln' as his next. Meanwhile Peter Jackson just began filming on DreamWorks' 'Lovely Bones'.
The only explaination could be that since it will be a motion capture film, it may be filmed over the course of next year and a half making it easy for both filmmakers to fit in their schedule.
TinTin, penned by Herge, follows the globe-trotting adventures of young journalist Tintin and his various companions — particularly his dog Snowy and his pal the sea-dog Captain Haddock.
