"We are beginning yet another fansite which will provide intensive coverage on the upcoming Robert Zemeckis Film 'Beowulf'.

The Anglo-Saxon epic, composed between the 7th and 10th centuries chronicles the exploits of Beowulf (Winstone), a Scandinavian hero who saves the Danes from the indomitable monster Grendel (Glover).

Ever since I have read the poem 'Beowulf' in high school, either I wanted to make a film on it at some point in my life or see one of my favorite filmmakers tackle it. With the latter wish granted, what better way to tell this story than the motion capture technology (utilized in 'The Polar Express' and upcoming 'Monster House').
